No I did not know this one existed. It looks so good, I really like its silver design though

However, I've got the VSTi mellotron installed on my PC and it really sounds good. I particulary love its strings...

This instrument was also extensively used by Tangerine Dream in "Phaedra"...

I think it's difficult to say whether it sounds bad. Generally Mellotron sounds are low quality, but that is it's character.

The Memotron sounds very good IMO. Close to the original. But for the price....I don't think so. It would however be great to have one in live situations.

Me? I love the Mtron so I don't mind.

I like the idea of having a midi controller in the shape of an original mellotron, hooked up by midi to a Mtron VST
