Are you sure? the spots in my studio are all 300 watt. So, it seems a bit unreal that it means mW, like 0,001.

I am no laser expert but the ones I have come across have been measured in mW. Lower case m stands for mili not mega. Might be tough to get through airport security with a 20 megawatt laser.

Yes. I found out that too. There's one plan for a space lift which has to be powered by a 100 MW laser. And that's really more than JMJ's laserharp uses!
