Or the other way around? As in this is the main reason JMJ has 'chosen' this location?

I wouldn't think so, the bridge with its UFO restaurant is emblematic and very much inline with the Starmus theme, so that's what likely came first; then the hunt for sponsors. ESET probably agreed because of the proximity.

Yeah, that make more sense 👍

Anyway, it is all very exciting and I have booked flights from the UK and booked accommodation in Bratislava old town. So a big thank you to ESET for sponsoring this event! Interestingly, ESET UK HQ is in Bournemouth, where I live, and just a few kms from my house.

As you already know, the concert in Bratislava will last 2 hours. Given that JMJ has very little time to prepare musical arrangements and has shown that he lacks a music production team to assist him in recent times, and considering how the last concerts have been in recent years, this is what I believe he will perform at the festival:

Ethnicolor
The Opening
Oxygene 2
Oxygene 4
Equinoxe 7
Conquistador
Equinoxe 4
Chronologie 6
Industrial Revolutions 2
The Architect
Souvenir of China
Oxygene 19
Oxygene 8
Zero Gravity
Oxygene 17
Epica
Zoolookologie
Time Machine or Rendez Vous 2
Rendez Vous 4
Chronologie 4
Stardust

Will Brian May play the role of Patrick Rondat on Rendez Vous 4 and Chronologie 4 and will that be it? Or will he be on stage from the start and contribute to other tracks too? Looking at your list, perhaps a JMJ x May guitar duet on Conquistador?!?! :D

I remember when Jarre, May and Garlik first came together in a likely collaboration for the International Year of Astronomy in 2009, at an event that was supposed to take place in the Canary Islands...May and Jarre would collaborate on a song together, in which sounds from stars, quasars and pulsars would be used... how about going back to the idea??

UFOs have become more trendy since the US AIrForce published those videos of actual UFOs…

What about an updated version of Digisequencer? Pretty sure JMJ & Brian May could do something pretty special

I just get an "invalid invite" error message when I try to join. Anybody else getting this?

Christ, why does everything has to be on Discord now? What problem does it solve, esp. in this particular case? Is that a "How do you do, fellow kids" thing?

Nope, the invite worked fine. During the registration I got the "suspicious activity" warning and had to verify via e-mail which didn't work correctly at first (the UI is - as is typical in the 2020s - dumb and I clicked on "send verification e-mail" twice, because the click doesn't do anything (i.e. doesn't even display "e-mail sent" message), so the links that I got were already expired)
