I think we know what the (re)mastering quality will be like, thanks to the person responsible for it. :P

Here's hoping that the best track from the album, whatever it may be, will see a "Beatport contest"-like release of all its instrument/effect tracks as separate WAV files.

Flying Totems is on Spotify now.

(Luckily no "Arturia Moog Modular V" sounding instrument in this track ;P)

I can't believe that Jarre still uses the guy when there's nothing but vocal dislike for the guys work.

1. How many people are complaining? You might find that the proverbial 99% is satisified with how the albums sound on their phones or crappy "sound systems" at home.
2. The mastering is up to "today's standards", bad as they are

I doubt JMJ has much choice over the matter

"Today I released a brand new track of EQUINOXE INFINITY called “Flying Totems”

“Flying Totems” are linked in some way with what we call crop circles, these mysterious signs that were found in South America and in some other parts on Earth or under water, these very, very big drawings in fields or deep in the ocean that you can only see from above. Clearly, nobody has ever really been able to find out whether all of these signs were actually made by human beings. The Watchers may have come from outer space and they may be linked to these signs.
The Watchers from the first cover are almost looking like the statues from Easter Island. They look like totems that people could actually adore. But they might have also come from outer space. So, at one point in their existence, they might have been “flying totems”."

Thanks! I'm glad that they're using the cover art with the black background for the box itself, it's really sleek IMO.

Still... it's Sony so they can find a way to screw it up before release. : |

I wonder what the other 2 posters are. I assumed one would be the boxset cover and the other one would be the 1978 album cover. Doesn't seem like it though from the pictures.

Wow. Just...WoW. Can't wait! :D

Interesting he didn't continued with Equinoxe "part 9" this time.
Perhaps he learned something from the Oxygene Trilogy confusion?

As of today, in addition to amazon.de the boxset can NO LONGER be purchased from jpc.de either.

Also, I don't think it was mentioned before - the vinyl edition comes with one 50x50 poster.

Yeah, that's odd. Still available at Finnish stores...

... then again, this album was announced in mid-September with a mid-November release date, much like the Oxygene Trilogy boxset was released somewhat shortly (perhaps even after 2-3 months as well?) after first being announced. Uh oh.
