As far as I can see, that is a DigiCo SD7; digital mixing desk. Those DigiCo's are more and more becoming the standard in pro-audio. Mostly the 5-series are used, but for this kind of JMJ concerts, I don't think it's strange that they used DigiCo's topmodel for soundcontrol .

Jakob, what is that beneath the Nord Lead (mk1) in Jarre's set-up that sits upon the tables, is that another JD800?

Well if just I had a look inside the spoiler trheads at the time, I could have figured it out myself, as I didn't have all the pics

Ok im still digging into the gear. On one of Claude's own photos, you can see a ROland TD-20 in his drumsetup. I think the TD-9 was replaced by the TD-20 before the tour started. That would also explane the expanded amount of drums in Claude's setup. Besides that, it would also explane why I haven't seen the TD-9 except on those rehearsing photos

Is that what was heard going out of tune during a certain track that finished with Jarre playing the AX-Synths guitar lead?

I only saw/heard JMJ use it during Calypso 3. You can hear it at 1:37 in the Malmö recordings. I don't remember if it was the exact same sound. I just remember that JMJ went over to the Syntar, and that sound came out of the speakers.

Great... I haven't checked out the latest blog update. In the early rehearsal photos, you could spot a white AX-Synth, so I guess it's a custom painting. Still very interesting piece of information.

I have wondered about that too, I never saw him use it in Ã…rhus. Since it's a performer instrument, I suppose it would have been used for something special. Maybe he will use it later on.
