They have this t-shirt shop online, why not offering mp3's for download aswell. I'm downloading illegal, pirated recordings of concerts but I am really really really willing to pay for this kind of stuff, but unfortunately this is impossible

Didn't JMJ speak about this whole subject in the European parliament a couple of weeks ago? These concertrecordings are a good opportunity for JMJ to make money by offering the mp3's
instead of t-shirts and coffee mugs in his webshop.

Can't we some how put some pressure on JMJ using his own forum?

Why not doing it like Musique pour Supermarché and put all concert recordings (not released on CD) as separate auctions on ebay! That will be real fun. JMJ's management should write a press release about this auction and he'll free media attention. The money can go to some charity like JMJ's pocket and it's upto the fans to track down the winners of the auction and ask for copies (for private use only ).....

The freely available mp3 of Oxygene 5, played live at the Wembley concert this year, is exactly like the kind of music a lot of Jean-Michel's fans like to hear. Unfortunately it's only one single piece of music and not a complete concert. To avoid further distribution of possible bootleg (audience) recordings of Jean-Michel's latest concerts, the complete concert recordings ought to be released.

The quality of the Oxygene 5-recording is good enough for release and by signing this petition, fans express that they are willing to pay money for the complete recordings. A real release on CD (or vinyl!!) will be nice but this may be an investment risk and not worthwhile (yet).

This petition is a way to show Jean-Michel that there is a great demand for recordings of his great live performances of his timeless music. Making the concert recordings available as downloads in the webshop may be a nice experiment. For the price of an In>doors coffee mug + t-shirt, each complete concert recording can be sold in the webshop as mp3-downloads as a souvenir.

Maybe someone can come up with a french translation when it's finished and I'll start a topic on jmj.com. The subject will be something like:
