Anyone found the other 3 patches that Jarre used in the intro to Oxy 4 during the 1997 Oxy tour. So far I have found the wind patch (3.86 - Antartica)

Well I doubt they were internal Factory patches,He would have programmed them himself or someone else did specifically for that purpose of the Tour.Easy enough to replicate on the Nord but certainly doubt they are factory Presets,Unless they were programmed by Clavia(Didn't jarre have the first MK2 off the prod line, perhaps they made some purpose Jarre clone patches for his model..)
The White Noise patch is the sort of patch you'll find in any VA synth with a Noise generator bit of filter cutoff and instant Jarre Waves

Sorry I don't have any spurces, but I remember reading that the sounds JMJ used for the Oxygene Tour '97 were made by Clavia specially for that first model that was given to JMJ.

I haven't got much knowledge about Swedish beer, but I know that many Swedes come to Denmark to buy our beer.
To me swedish beer is something that kids drink because it's usually cheap and easy to obtain. We do have some stuff that's pretty good though. Norrlands Guld is one of them, Falcon is another. Danish beer has never left me unsatisfied. I live an hour away from Copenhagen and visit as often as I can (not just for the beer though! ).

The white noise is a preset on the NL2 and it's exactly the same as heard in the Oxy 4 intro. That's why I wondered if the others were also there.

I've done a short demo of NL2X:

Woah man! I didn't really work with the layering untill not so long ago. It's really nice for pads, but it's like the polyphony is reduced more than half when layering two programs... I don't know why. Anyway the polyphony of 20 voices is really nice for these pads.

Any synths Polyphony will be reduced by half if you double the Voice,Your playing two or more sounds when your Layering,so you need twice the processing power of a single sound,Polyphony figures are always Quoted on a single Program using minimum power, its Basic Maths.
So if your Nord has 20 Voice Polyphony that means you can play a maximum of 20 notes at once with a single Sound, every time you add a layer you lower the Amount of Notes playable, its doesn't mean that every layer can play 20 notes, that would need minimum 80 notes of polyphony for each of the 4 PFM Mode Slots of the Nord to be layered and to still have 20 note Polyphony per voice
And on some synths (The Andromeda for instance)even though your not stacking sounds if you utilise a Unison feature this eats up your voices within a single program, because your using more processing power, but this depends on your synths architecture and how it distributes Voices/Oscillators

No that was not what I said. When I make a layer of two programs, the polyphony should be 10, but it feels less than that. If I puss 5 notes at a time and then push 5 new notes, the release of the 5 first notes stop, as if the polyphony was only 5.

You obviously didn't put it across as you meant..
Does it cut the notes out completely or simply alter the release portion of the original 5 notes.
That will be down to the High/Low/New note Priority setting...(Have to check my Nord Manual to see if there is a Note trigger priority function.)Most synths usually have a Note priority allocation for when Polyphony is maxed,
Normally with a double layered sound you should be able to play 10 notes(Or full polyphony value in single mode) without any notes cut short, have you checked that its only 2 timbres you have layered, that seems rather odd that it should interupt the original notes, normally you shouldn't hear any alteration to the sound until you press an 11th note down, whilst keeping those 10 held down, usually this is where the Trigger priority setting will come into play
so as you play the 11th note,if you set the note priority to low any notes first triggered Lower than the 11th note positon will not be cut off,if all the notes are lower than the 11th one you triggered, the first played note will cut off
Also, have you checked the Key mode in the actual single Program??in order to take advantage of the Full Polyphony you need to have the single programs set to "Poly" and not legato or mono Mode, and make sure either of them are not using the Unison mode too this will alter the Polyphony..(I did mention this in my previous post)

Yes it was a pad patch I made dedicated for the purpose. So it's the same program that I just double. The purpose is to get a bigger sound, where the only difference is that the second layer is one octave under the other.
