Hi all!
Let's be fair to the man. It's early day's yet. And, as Francis Rimbert indicated, the tracklist may change from concert to concert.
The fact that they will be playing stuff live and without backing tracks and computers, perhaps makes the setlist more elastic.
I am looking forward to seeing old favourites played with a new slant.
I can't imagine Calypso 3 with out The Amoco Renegades. Then again, I couldn't picture Oxygene 7 played on a Laser Harp till I saw it!
It is a bit strange that there will be no video or projections after what he has already said, however, perhaps they just looked well, a bit naff.
Or, perhaps they are being kept for a future project?
Above all, I'm just looking forward to spending an evening in the company of a genius!
The music is primary, the lights secondary.
Just my tuppence worth.
P.S Mr Jarre if you are reading this,
Arpegiator! PLEASE???????????????????? lol

Thanxs to Quicky for the info and Robi for confirming it.
I have posted it here cause the info should be on the main thread.

no new tracks, then why did to promote it...? I guess Francis, Dominique and Claude is a bit of bored with RV2 and SOC now; will he replace them with Oxygene 7, Oxygene 10 or Chronologie 4 ?...

I dunno but they never got bored of Oxygene 1-6. I really can't imagine JMJ bored. The versions might change musically.

The publicity was kinda of small when that was mentioned. And not in any of the English articles.

Tracks nobody's listened to before can't be hits.

Yes, why do force always Rendez-vous 2 or Souvenir of China? Maybe other band memers are a bit of bored hearing the same tracks always. Maybe JMJ is too…
Kanta, a bit more objectivity ! IF Jarre promoted new music , then where is that? Was he uncertain about new music? Then I don’t say anything about it!
Where are Oxygene 7, Oxygene 10, Chronologie 4? Rendez-vous 4? Etchnicolor?
But good to hear Equinoxe 7, Calypso, Magnetic Fields again!

I want new music like the next fan from JMJ. But if he does not want to give it to us then we have to accept it. He has a right to change his mind. I know it's only a woman's provocative but men do it, as well. The promotion on new tracks was never mentioned in the majority of the publicity of articles. It was only a few compared to the amount we have read.

Wasn't it only mentioned on that woman show?
All I want to know is... where's Téo & Téa?

Tha fact is fans are getting to be a bit disappointed recently in JM; though I enjoyed the concert, I think there is something in hearing negative comments on JM and his productivity.
Sometimes the extremely poor mangement, sometimes short concerts, sometimes "too-much-played" tracks...etc. I HAVE expected new music because JM PROMOTED it; then if we can't hear it, at least not again RV2 and SOC, but a bit more variability.
If you look at this , you can see each of their fans are greatly fine with production.
Nah, stop.

Nice video. DM are really getting personal with their fans. The problem is JMJ can't do that cause he don't sing.

Who has referred to that? Look at the spectacles...

DM is giving the fans the personal touch to get the crowd going. JMJ is more refined. There is nothing wrong with that. Just different artists like to give different concerts.
