A little bit short time between announcement and the date...but, what can be for Bulgaria, is that he was there long time ago (2011), also some can go from Serbia and Romania, imo.

It's just me, but I guess France, UK, etc would follow next year instead, after releaseing a well-hoped new album and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Oxygene.

Jean-Michel Jarre will play with the AI for his concert in Brussels: "It is typical of the artists to be able to use it in a poetic way"
After nearly ten years of absence, Jean-Michel Jarre returns to Brussels for a preview concert. Rendez-vous Place des Palais on July 1, 2025 where the legendary pioneer of electronic music, faithful to his legend, will offer innovative music and visual created thanks to A.I. Should we be afraid of this new technology or be happy about it? Jean-Michel Jarre defended this use in music in Matin Première.
Jean-Michel Jarre: electro music that takes on full dimension on stage
For his great return to Belgium, Jean-Michel Jarre explains that he worked on a brand new concert concept. "I use artificial intelligence a lot on a visual level, with many surprises."
It is in Brussels that the French musician will inaugurate a series of four concerts. "I am very happy to meet the Brussels and Belgian public on this occasion," he says. A scoop for Belgium to then reach Rome, Venice, Pompeii and finally, a historical site in Croatia.
Embracering artificial intelligence: the use of AI for his concert in Brussels
As an artist, Jean-Michel Jarre approaches technology without fear, considering that it dictates the styles and not the other way around, as the violin did for Vivaldi, the camera for the brothers Dardenne, Tarantino or Jean-Luc Godard: "It is because we invented and also discovered the usefulness of electronic components that I make the music I make today. So artificial intelligence, the faster we embrace it, the more we understand it, the more we can explore it in a positive way. The more we can also fight the possible perverse effects."
For this eternal innovator who has a true passion for technology, artificial intelligence represents an artistic opportunity, both for the music and the scenography of his concerts. "Basically, it is the artists' proper to be able to divert it to their advantage, to be able to use it in a poetic way," explains Jean-Michel Jarre who adds: "I hope to be able to show it at this concert at the Place des Palais du 1er juillet!"
"We don't stop progress": music is not dead because of technology
For him, there is always an often somewhat conservative, if not reactionary, attitude of human beings who are afraid of change. Technological advances have not been detrimental to music, on the contrary, recalls the French artist: "At the beginning of recorded music, music publishers were publishers who printed scores. And when the music is recorded arrived, they said 'it's the end of the concerts since people will stay listening to music at home'".
According to the adage of the elders and his grandmother, 'progress is not stopped'. "So it's better to kiss him as soon as possible," says Jean-Michel Jarre, who will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his mythical album Oxygène in 2026.
