The TV broadcast sounds interesting: combination of VR and live "real" footage.

And a boxset release of this? Of course, this is speculation and ideas so I will take it with a grain of salt, but a release of the music on all streaming platforms after the concert sounds like music to my ears (pun intended).

I hope this is true for the YouTube broadcast as well (he wasn't specific about it), because I've been saying that seeing him in person would humanize this performance a bit.
He mentioned remixes of O2 and O4 specifically ("and also some other things that I rearranged for the concert) so I don't think we'll hear anything from Equinoxe. Given the quality of the O4 remix perhaps it's for the best? ;>
A boxset? Yay, cash-grab! ;> I doubt this will happen.
Btw. I tried shazaming that second new track from "Alone Together" and it yielded no results. Since O2 remix was recognized as being part of the "Welcome to the other side" album and this track is not I suppose it won't be played (although something tells me that the intro chords (that were in the rehearsal) will be played at midnight)

Jean-Michel Jarre for TVN24: we are all now in a big cage on 29/12/2020
We are all in a great cage now. For some it is tighter, for others less. I am lucky to be a musician. I'm a bit used to sitting at home or in a recording studio for weeks. But it is one thing to decide to shut down, be isolated because of working on another project, and it is another thing to be forced to lockdown. Then it's hard to get creative, look for inspiration - says in an interview with TVN24 reporter Paweł Laskosz, legendary creator of electronic music Jean-Michel Jarre. As he adds, during the pandemic he decided that this may be the perfect moment and a chance to discover new means of expression. "Virtual reality turned out to be a great way to escape from this cage," he explains. Jarre is currently preparing a spectacular New Year's Eve concert in Paris. Everyone will be able to take part, no matter what part of the world they are in. Using VR technology, viewers will be able to see the façade and the real Notre Dame Cathedral. One hundred people from different countries, including Poland, were involved in the project. "It is a message of hope for all of us at this difficult time," he explains. The musician, whose name is even on the map of outer space, also recalls the beginnings of his career and concerts in our country. - I have a strong bond with Poland. I really love your country - he says. He adds that he has many reasons for this.

I'm feeling really optimistic about tonight's show. I expect lots of lessons have been learned since "Alone Together" six months ago. I'm still concerned the music will be based too much on a derivative EDM "thud thud" remix when he should stick more closely to his musical roots. That said, I feel the whole scenography, storyboard and effects will be a zillion times slicker than back in June. Def looking forwards to tonight!

Also, for those that were subscribers back in the day to "Conductor Of The Masses" fanzine in the UK, I recall a letter they published in approx. 1990/1991 that described a how a virtual reality Jean-Michel Jarre could look and perform in concert, saying he had to move with the times and explore new technologies now that (and I quote from memory here!)
"... the laser harp is old hat"
I remember reading this letter and thinking, yeah got a point. Laser Harp is now 8 years old - The China Concerts being 1982 - so agree, think he should update his act.
Only taken 30 years!

Anyone who will record this (audio or video)? I would've done it myself, but for whatever reason I'm getting a ton of noise during the recording at the moment for some reason and I can't seem to find the reason as to why...
Edit: Stream is live!
