I've received an email that the boxset has been shipped. I'm awaiting this weekend to see what'll happen. Last time I had received an email and the box just showed up because the tracking code didn't work. And guess what... It doesn't work again!

What will happen with the Deluxe Edition of the album? Why does this have to happen without any information being send out? I still haven't received my correct download either! Looks like the entire thing has been cancelled outright completely.

And we were talking about terrible service before? Now this is absolute fucking terrible service. It's all completely gone and I can't find a single thing about it back. I honestly wouldn't be the least bit surprised of the boxset was deliberately delayed to not have to actually make this boxset before the merger. It's an absolute fucking disaster.
So I'm not the only one in this exact situation.

Yello's Dieter Meier performing an acoustic version of Why This, Why That and Why.
Totally different from the Heart of Noise version.

French electronica legend Jean-Michel Jarre is back with his second album in a year. Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise has taken it's pet theme of building bridges between synth and pop music even further with a huge collaborative effort with musicians across the spectrum.

It's going to be a third version as the next Yello album comes out I'm pretty sure of it.

My E2 set came in today. I haven't gotten a chance to really look at it yet.

looks like the The Train and the River remix is missing. Maybe a rights issue?

Anyway, anyone checked the DR of the WAVs?

All of these I already had, including TT&TR Remix because I've bought EP2 some time ago.

Pet Shop Boys said they never met with Jarre. And it also seems that the Primal Scream track is "featuring" in the good old "we've sampled another artist" vein.
There was a Hans Zimmer track story…

Quite a lackluster "Collector's Box" compared to the E1 one (which IMO was more or less worth the price). Most of the track stories are from E1, IIRC the remixes were horrible (aside from Rising Star(dust)) and I'm not really one of those people who dig "Electronic Press Kits". Guess I got lucky when I cancelled my E2 preorder and just bought the CD instead...

Quite the shame.

Now where's that Paris La Defense inedité BluRay?

Yep, missing on all of the sets so far. It's available on the standard fan box, so it's safe to say it's yet another Sony screw up ...
I can't check the WAV DR here, but the waveforms look and sound loud - especially compared to the vinyl ones ...
