Is there any chance that one or two of the unknown tracks are with Kraftwerk or Vangelis? That would be awesome!

Or maybe with Karl Bartos, Klaus Schulze or Ryuichi Sakamoto?

Who are they?

Better have collaborations with Alan Wilder or even with David Gilmour.

Because Jarre has said in several of the video interviews that each track is presenting a special era of electronic music. That's why.

Kraftwerk weren't very enthusiastic when Jarre approached them back in 1999. Doubt they are very enthusiastic now. (They don't collaborate much at all with anyone)

Vangelis? Forget it! He neither likes nor respects Jarre. People around him has expressed this in interviews, and Vangelis slagged off Oxygene in a rare interview back in 1977/1978.

Also: They've had several opportunities to meet, but none of them wanted to.

Schulze hasn't done anything worthwhile in three decades, so I hope not. Bartos alone isn't very impressive, IMO. Sakamoto on the other hand, that would be awesome (or could be)

Röyksopp and "The Chem bros"... just saying. (I wish)
What happened with that David Lynch rumour?

Horrible title. That would be a total lack of imagination. :P

About JMJ on Vangelis, what about this quote? French composer Jean Michel Jarre replied what he thinks of Vangelis in the Portuguese magazine "Promusica" (1997):
I like him a lot and would like to work with him some day. We both have Latin roots but he has a more symphonic posture. I on the other hand am more minimalist as you can find from my new album.

For the potential partners, Air was already mentioned, right? That is great.

I wish for Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Giorgio Moroder, Thiervery Corporation, Moby, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Fatboy Slim, Orbital (although they quit last year), Karl Hyde, OMD.....

O, really? Interesting.

So, what is the deal with this twitter teaser? 28-8 is the release date of that Collection album, right? But that weird anagram makes no sense, besides it making Electronica

No. The date is October 16th. August 28th is probably the date of the official announcement of album name, artwork, quite possible the entire tracklist as well.

So it does make sense then

I still wonder: will there be a plain CD-release of this album? Or is it just the "deluxe package", vinyl and digital download?
