Apparently, Michael Jackson is doing some concerts for the O2 Arena. He says he will do the tracks that fans want to hear. Maybe, JMJ has the same sort of idea. :fine:

Yes, I noticed on the news yesterday that the weirdo with the white glove is back. All proceeds of his concerts will go to the charity of his choice - his debt collector.
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

[OT] I thought MJJ was a little misguided about what the O2 arena is - I mean, lets face it, he's been on oxygen in many guises and I'll bet my butt he thought this one was another...! can't say I'm a big fan of the 'butt chinned' one.. but hey, he's gotta earn his way out of financial trouble now :pwned: [/OT]

I'm not sure whether this would be the right spot to post this question but here goes: has anybody got any idea if the tickets for the Debrecen concert are nominal? the trouble is i don't have a credit card and it's the only payment method available for people abroad so i got a friend of mine who owns a credit card, to register and eventually order a ticket for me. Now, if the tickets are nominal, she'd be the one to go to the concert, not me, and well, she is not a fan of Jean Michel Jarre's music. So, if anybody could please answer my question, I'd be forever grateful. :) Thank you!

P.S. please bear in mind that this is the first time I'm ordering a concert ticket abroad, hence the noob question. ;)

The tickets are always in the name of the person who bought them. But checks are not made if you are that actual person. If it has happened, it's never happened to me. :fine:

thank you for your replies, guys :) I don't yet know what I'll do .

Jakob - well, there is an option for that but apparently, it is not available for my country...

in fact, I'll just parasite this thread a little longer and I'll post a list with the available options as they appear when you hit the pay button.

like I said, I'm a noob when it comes to ordering stuff from abroad and I might just be overlooking things... :?

Lahavana- Get a photo copy of the credit card that was used to book the ticket. Then have your friend attach a note saying that the ticket was a gift from her to you. If you get stopped at the gate show them the photo copy. I've done this when collecting tickets at the box office that were booked in someone elses name; there's never been a problem.

You mean whether or not Patrick Rondat will be on stage?

Here's hoping on Brian May

A nice blend of May/Queen & Jarre - "We will, we will. . . . . . . Revolution!"

Unless Jarre pops up again with the guitar he used in WFL.

I think I would take the option to print my ticket at home. It's easier and quicker. :fine:

ooh, if that works then that's what I'm going to do :) thank you very much, Phil, for the piece of advice!
Kanta - yep - i'll try what Phil suggested and when I order, I'll use the e-ticket method - no extra fees :)
thank you guys :) the future is bright (and Jarre-full) again :D

about the ongoing discussion: this being my first live Jarre concert, he may bring and play an ukulele for all I know (tho his usual gear would be nicer) I'd still be thrilled just to be there :)
