nope. minipops 7Synthesist wrote:Sorry for being a little ofttopic... So Oxygene 6 is simply the rythmcomputer?
Yup, i meant Mp7-preset on the Mp7 itself. Where else? If it would be on another machine, then it would be a program.....Synthesist wrote:Ok so that preset was on the Minipops I guess, it was just never mentioned in the talk about what the MP7 was used for.
Totally agree. The snare sounds more like the EKO than anything else and so does the hihats. If the Minipops is used on EQ4 then it's for that clicking sound. Bassdrum, neither Minipops or EKO.PHASEREFFECT wrote: The snare is -never- from a Mp7! The Mp7-noise-sounds are more or less really only noise and don´t have any structure!
No chance! Oxygene 2/4/Equi5 & Co is Mp7 with Smallstone, but not Equi4!

I have absolutely no idea what the Rhytmicomputer can be. A programable MP7 is one of the options... Geiss is the only one that knows for sure. I really hope he wants to share it with us (seen the recent history).VinceBlood wrote:I don't think that Geiss Rhythmi Computer is a MP7 modified but rather a self-made rhythmic sequencer with some analog sounds and external control for triggering other devices such like MP7 customised, CR-78, KR-55, ARP 2600, etc ...
It can be also be synchronised with Matrisequencer 250.
So, maybe Equinoxe 4 uses several drumboxes (eg : Geiss Rhythmi Computer -> CR-78; MP7 )
When I will have opportunity to ask Michel Geiss I will question him about his drumbox.
