I'm guessing Jarre recordings between '73-75 would be the rarities the fans would really want? It would be during this period that his wide experimentation and noodling would have narrowed down something resembling Oxygene? Anyone reckon he would ever release his demos etc from this period?

This may have already been achieved, if so, I'm sorry but, with all the combined skills within this forum wouldn't it be great to have an exact, whole album, replica of 'music for supermarkets'? I've heard many talented musicians on this site perfectly recreate bits of Oxygene and Equinoxe and think ...

why bother?

Just downloaded the MFSL version of Oxygene and Equinoxe. Why do think they are better mixes?

I have the 1983 2344 068 CD as well as the re-master/issue that came out in '96? as well as the 2007 new master recording. Which do people consider to be the best mix/issue and why?
