My wish list for Reason extensions would be:

Korg DW-8000 (EX-8000) - A very raw sounding part digital / part analog synth (they recreated the Monopoly so this should be next on their list I hope)
Korg DW-6000 - This had some quirky limitations (6 note poly) and some of the patches actually sounded ...

Perhaps he just used the Seiko to 'beef up' the Synthex or even the choir sounds.
We all know how subtly layering detuned pads/strings under another instrument can add real depth to a sound. Ideal for minimalist tracks like RV3.

I was like some of you guys. Fanatical about his stuff during the 80's, but I kind of gave up on Jarre after Oxygene 7-13. I heard about the Metamorphosis album and as soon as I heard he was using vocals I wrote it off without ever listening to it. 5 or 6 years later I started to listen to his music ...

I uploaded this onto my Samsung Galaxy S.
The only thing tht lets this down is the Guiro sound, surely a better sample can be used.

A Korg KR-55A/B emulator would be cool too.

I've used Cakewalk Pro 3 since 1995 (!!!). I used to have that on a 75 MHz PC, also running Turtle Beach Tropez sound card for all my .WAV sampling needs.

I'd like to do the same with my Univox as the rhythms just aren't the same as the MP7 as you know. Could you write a guide to the mods you've made / listing the electrical components needed / cost / and a schematic. :roll:

Because the Quijada pitch changes by itself randomly, I'm guessing a dry solder joint near the pitch pot or perhaps the pot needs some switch cleaner ?

Mine is an America unit (110v). Do you know if the power can be changed to 220V ...

I love my little KR-55. I actually got it off Ebay about 4 years ago for £33 !

The seller typed 'Kork' instead of 'Korg' so I was the only bidder - Result !!!

Yep, the industrial sounding 'Klink - Klang' opening loop is from the D50 (I have that).

But, I'm talking about the extra 'thips', 'blips', 'thuds' and metalic cowbell that comes in just before the D50 Gritttar synth lead.

Unless I'm totally wrong, but the D50 doesn't have a individual percussion ...

In my quest a few years ago of purchasing various Jarre rhythm boxes. I picked up an immaculate KR-55 (in box with vinyl cover) for those metallic analog rhythm patterns Jarre used on Magnetic Fields 1, 2 & 4 (Samba & Rock 2) :D
