Re: Europe in Fashion: Any clue what top Jarre's wearing in these EiC rehearsal photos?

The first time I saw Jarre live was during the Oxygene '97 in Poland. His style back then, with the long coat, slicked-back hair, the glasses, and those laser harp gloves during Oygene 7, made him look like some kind of mad scientist to me.

By the way, does anyone know what model of glasses JMJ is ...

Maybe someone should tell him that we shouldn't be afraid of AI. :)

Re: Tour 2026

I'd say, this tour has been the "most live" one compared to the last year's πŸ˜… I really loved the little improvisations / noodlings here and there. Especially the one on Zero Gravity is actually pretty decent! Yes he's not a really good keyboard player etc. but it's still nice 😁

I really ...

Great audio quality and a perfect camera angle. Better download this video fast before Sony hits it with a copyright strike.

Re: Tour 2026

My personal opinion is to go to the concert with good intentions and you will definitely have a good time!! That's what I did and probably the same was done by most of the people who went to the concert on Monday.

Well said. I’ve noticed the same thing myself. When I’m analyzing a concert by ...

Oxygene wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2026 8:32 am It seems this is the "Live AI" he spoke about. Pictures of a live camera focused on JMJ and processed in real time by AI. There were similar effects on "Brutalism".
I think it was during Epica. Brutalism had the same laser show as last year.

That's exactly what I was mainly thinking of.

Re: Tour 2026

Odd to throw out an Oxygene during the Oxygene anniversary year (not that I'm a fan of either of those Oxygene 4 remixes that he's performing)

It looks like JMJ doesn't really view these gigs as an Oxygene anniversary celebration. It’s only the promoters who keep hyping that up. I guess we can ...

Re: Tour 2026

Looks like the setlist order has been changed yet again. The concert kicked off with The Opening (the name fits perfectly), and RV4 and MF2 were played as the encore.

I absolutely love the crowd's reaction. Hearing everyone sing along to RV4 is amazing. It was pretty stiff in Poland, though, but ...

Re: Tour 2026

My hope for this year is, the Ibiza and ADE gig since ibiza is quite a special place and ADE seem like it might be a one off thing (i feel like ibiza one might have a different set list but we'll see I guess πŸ˜…) *fingers crossed* πŸ˜…πŸ€žπŸ»

Re: Tour 2026

Radom, apart from that important historical anniversary, is also a meme-city in Poland and many people make fun of it. I've heard from several people that it's funny someone like Jarre, who used to draw millions to his concerts, has now been reduced to performing in Radom.

I skipped this year's ...

Re: Tour 2026

I wonder if he's gonna be playing the same set list at ibiza ? Also I'm wondering how his setup will be since it's more of a "DJ Setup friendly" place πŸ€”πŸ€”

I think the stage will just be scaled down a bit so it fits in the club.

So, to sum up the whole concert: Robots Don't Cry was removed, The ...

Got it. I feel the same way about The Opening. Sometimes we've just gotten tired of some tracks. Personally I like that kind of hardcore electronic music.
