He is fine with using genAI to steal the work of visual artists, but when its about music it suddenly becomes a problem for him?
I'm glad he is pushing back against companies like Suno, but to do this while using AI generated art in his concert is hypocrisy.

People who defend AI often play the Picasso card in the hope that some sort of philosophical debate will distract from all the negative aspects of gen AI.
Its actually really simple.

Creative work is influenced by things the artist has seen, heard or felt for themselves.

Its interesting how when its his field, suddenly the use of genAI matters.
What about all the visual artists like myself, that now have to take steps to try to prevent our work being stolen and fed into these plagiarism machines. Which then spew out slop that competes against our own work??
