I recorded a 48/24 WAV of the record, but because my record player is a quite crappy one (Sylvercrest :oops: ) the results are not fantastic. But i was to curious if it was 'as loud' as the CD and the High-Res audio files. It ...

High-Res audio from (a.o) Qobuz is still compressed the life out of it compared to the record.

Got the box as well today. Verrry dissapointed about the MP3 download.
On the bright side: The album is wonderfull.

The 4-tone-bass-sequence of Movement 9 is close to the Dutch program "Opsporing gezocht": and is a very interesting track. At least in my top 4 of the entire album.

Sorry for the "Movement 6 haters", but the more I play this song, the more I like it. The start, details like the "howling wolves" at 2:34 and 3:31, the wink to Magnetic Fields at the end (3:54). Etc. Ok, I wasn't expecting this on an Equinoxe sequel as well, but now it's there...

If you need "getting used to it" more or less means you probably wouldn't even bat an eyelid if it didn't have the name "Jarre" slapped onto it.

Nope, 60% of the Jarre tracks are not very pleasing to my ears the first time I listen to them. But after listening a few times things start to sound ...

Listening to it brings a smile on my face. At leat not all tracks of this album are dark and slightly depressive
It's not a 'high level' Jarre track, but I can get used to it.

So, kubrick, you didn't post anything yesterday, probably for the good, it's not good for a fan-forum to post 'illegal stuf'.

But I'm curious: At least give us your review of the entire album. What is your favorite track, which track sounds the most 'Equinoxy' etc.

Wouldn't be surprised if this MP3 is the real thing. Again with some Vangelis-like sounds. It's almost if they worked together on this album...

Had mixed feeling when watching the show yesterday. Who thought that it was a good idea to fill a quarter of the screen with an intense white banner with some comments? Or show 4 small videos at the same time with a bright 'news swirl' around it. And that was before the first 30 minutes of 'news ...
