Ok, I wasn't expecting this on an Equinoxe sequel as well, but now it's there...
..but now it's there... I better force myself to like it. Even though I would change the channel if I heard this on the radio, and didn't know it was Jarre. Gotta keep playing it! I HAVE to like it in the end ...
DON'T tell me this is Jean-Michel Jarre!??.... A track from the so-called """Equinoxe sequel"""....??
And I just noticed that I've been kicked out of the FB group "Jean Michel Jarre and Fans" Hahaha wtf!? Because I don't want to trick myself into liking his new stuff ...
Well, let's see about that, but it seems he has some things cooking I'm also curious about that track that surfaced a couple of months back. It sounded great, Jarre or not Jarre!
Second that! :D And he should start the concert by playing First Rendez Vous! Let's see how it goes. He probably just throws in the CD ;) Well, I wouldn't mind hearing those two tracks in their CD version to be honest :D
Thanks for all the pictures and videos Kanta!! Really looking forward to this concert! Especially visually. 12 Dots version II hopefully Aaaand then a Blu-ray of course!
One of the drum loops from Oxygene 17 can be heard in the beginning
Well, the first time I heard this "drum loop" on the album, I immediately knew it was a sampling. My guess were that it came from Spectrasonics' 'Stylus' drum synth ...
In my view the album is way too simple, almost like a demo, in need of another 1-2 months of composition, arrangement, and mixing. Quite a few others have come to the same conclusion as myself.
Analogumph you and others that have come to this conclusion must take time and inward development ...

Wow! What a show! The lights and visual effects are..... Dazzling! The Sound Design, under the fingers of Alain Courieux, at the console of the facade, is masterfully mixed and devilishly ...

You are very welcome Dr Jones! I'm still not giving up on getting a studio version of that 20 minutes piece, I bloody want it!! Let's see what happens!
