It's at least clear that it's a 3 state switch. But my theory that the switch and pot is used for adding a second LFO (tremulant) doesn't get stronger by these lables. Still possible though....making one o the other or each separate LFOs used.

To me it's quite apparent after the octave intro... but then it might be from just tweaking the attack port while playing. But it sounds ...

I think the key to the sound is osc sync with env pitch mod and then sent through a chorus.

Which songs/recordings are you refering to?

Listening to R-V 3 on the album there is some slight modulation of the attack - and not many synths are cabable of that - for sure not the Synthex. But the RSF ...

I'm personally believing that the ARP on Oxygene means the 2600 and nothing else.

I'm not a expert on the 2500 sound but some squelchy filter sounds should have appeared...if it was available during the recording sessions...

Also, why the 2500 is refered to in relation to R-V is also a puzzle to ...

I've seen the ARP 2500 used on stage on the live DVD making some random filtering drones (which does not appear in the studio version), but is the ARP 2500 really used on the original Oxygene. It's not listed on the studio remake album.
