OK, it's no accurate rendition for JMJ purists :) but thought you may like to hear three new soundbanks I've created for the EMU Emulator II. The laser harp and band pass pad are directly from the Elka Synthex but the others are layered samples made using the Synthex, Roland XP50 and Korg X5DR ...

Excellent sound. Best of luck fixing up your EI with a complete library. That must be a very hard thing to do these days with so few of them in good order (or so it would appear).

The EII is my favourite item and probably most played of all my gear and would love an EI too. Keep us updated.

Has the EII been re-painted or is that a colour filter you've applied to the photos? Your friend now needs a vintage Mac to make the most of his sampler... !

Nice info on the Emax II you've picked up. Quite sold on getting one too when one comes up cheap, not too bothered which type. Actually, having the EII, reckon an Emax II with digital filters, more memory and/or HD would be better (for comparison) and probably easier to pick up.

I've not come across it. I've noted a fair few classic EI sounds that aren't included with the EII libraries unfortunately.

JMP - Question in regards to the Emu & OMI CD libraries. Where did you find those? Are they on sale via website somewhere? Also isn't there a convertor that can convert Emu format to soundfont format? Just wondering the easiest way to get these into an Alesis Fusion. After listening to the various ...
