I was confused about those two Oxygene sounds. The ' flute ' is clearly a single squarewave and the ' counter melody ' a sawtooth. Matt uses the same sawtooth in his Oxygene 5 experiments.

He tells me he used the SAWTOOTHH wave of OSC 2 on his JP8000.

Depends on your definition of the word FAN. Im a fan of all Jarre's great and outstanding creations but not his poorer efforts - does that make me a 'bad' fan or just a unsentimental honest fan?

Gifts? It would just be exciting to hear some good music from him again - I dont know him personally so all Im interested in is his music. Cant see the point in worshiping someone for the sake of it - do you have posters of him over your beds? xx

Do we think we will ever get a decent synthesizer album from Jarre again, his music is bloody awful these days and has a really cheap, childish feel to it. There are kids doing WAY better electronica these days and I bet they all used to idolise him infront of his huge Houston keyboard miming away ...
