I can´t remember off-hand, but there was a patch sheet of that famous "hand-clapping sequence" as used in O5. For other sounds I´d just transfer the slider settings from the various promo shots ...

Great Job, especially since you programmed the Synthex sound within the virtual synth Thor!
Curiosly the Elka Synthex is not velocity sensitive, neither from its keyboard nor via MIDI, so the harder attack some repeated notes have in the tune is not due to stronger velocities but it's a side effect ...

@ thhedk : great cover and great video! Did you use Korg's arpeggiator or did you program every note for the fast arpeggio notes? Very very good!

As to the drums I think that the main rhythm is ONLY TR-808.
The "pulse" rhythm is 808 KICK+SNARE and the also hats are clearly 808.

Interesting thread, the Kurzweil was the first keyboard I played that had a proper keyboard on it, was too rich for me back in 1991 :D Was quite impressive to have that much sample ROM to play with back then. Would be interesting to see how they've aged, most 90's ROMplers sound a bit thin now. I ...

I don't think it's the RSF; in the CIC the following year RSF was used for the sequences and they sound a lot different (apart from the intro which should be the original tape played at half speed...)

For Example snare in original Souvenir in China sounds genial and powerfull but I am not sure why ...
