Well, fwiw, we have already a complete demo of “Retro Rendez-Vous”, that already sounds pretty good to us. It came together surprisingly quickly (we already had versions Fourth and Last, of course, but those will be a tweaked and hopefully improved too). A fair bit to do still, but we're enjoying ...

But that was my point - you don't need to make RV2 and RV3 distinctive. You make them sound more or less the same as their original 70s versions (sans vocals). And this way both "universes" converge nicely.

In autumn 2015 I bought a Eminent 310U. I was a happy man. It was the right Jarre sound that I had hunted in various plugins.
But I missed that one could quickly change in what had been recorded without having to record the whole effort again. I had just gotten reason 9, and there was a plugin ...

Oxygene IV played live on the JPS Harmonic Synthesizer and the Combo 310U Rack Extensions I've spent way, way too much time playing this track with them. I figured recording it might give me some closure to move on!

Not seen this listed, and it's still available for a 3 more weeks for streaming and mp3 download.

It's a pretty substantial interview, not much new, but a few amusing nuggets I'd not heard (the night shift at Groupe de Recherche ;) )

The Oxygene 7 lead wasn't done the 310U, afaict, or at least, not on an unmodified one: it clearly has an amp attack envelope. If it is 310, and it does sound 310ish ...
